Respawn Entertainment has asked Microsoft to fix their next gen game console controller, saying that it's "overly twitchy," reports The Verge.

"It's just fixing the controller input, really," Titanfall design lead Justin Hendry told The Verge. "It wasn't really where we felt it should be; it was a little overly twitchy with the current controls. Now it's fixed. We're happy with it," he added.

According to The Verge, a Microsoft spokesperson said that the controller fix will be out by February as part of an Xbox One update. The controller fix will be automatic once the Xbox One controller syncs with the console.

The February controller fix for the Xbox One will reportedly "increase the sensitivity of the outer boundaries of the thumbsticks on the Xbox One controller," a Microsoft spokesperson told The Verge. The controller fix will not only benefit Titanfall but might also do other Xbox One games good, "potentially improving the feel of the controls across all games," says Venture Beat.

The Xbox-maker and Respawn Entertainment is also teaming up to work on a new version of the game console's upscaler, reports GameSpot. The new 1080p upscaler will enable games which have non 1080p resolutions to adapt, thereby improving its visuals.

Titanfall for Xbox One and PC is slated for a March 11 release while the PS3 version will be out on March 25. The mech-shooter game is about to start a closed beta phase on February 14. Interested gamers who wish to register can do so HERE.

According to Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella tweet, only those who have registered for the closed beta will be able to download the game, which Polygon says will include three game modes: "team-based deathmatch mode Attrition, control point mode Hardpoint Domination and Last Titan Standing."
