A man from Miami is claiming that he is the biological father of Cuban actor William Levy and wants to meet the star to get to know him.

According to People en Español, the man, named Sergio Chau, is claiming that Levy is his son, but the two never met because he left Cuba when Levy's mother, Bárbara Levy, was still pregnant with the future star.

Chau was interviewed for a segment that aired on Dec. 8 on "El Gordo y la Flaca," which shared images of the man on their Instagram account.

After 34 years of having no contact with the famous actor, Chau says he's ready to meet him and get to know the "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" star.

"From William Levy I don't want anything, no money, nothing. What I want is for him to want to talk to me, I am in the best disposition to talk to him," he said.

Lili Estefan, who is close friends with Levy and his family, confirmed, via Levy's mother, that Chau is not Levy's biological father.

The actor's biological father does live in Miami, but he is named Carlos. Levy, who is a father to two children with actress Elizabeth Gutiérrez, has already been in contact with his birth father.

In an interview with People en Español in early 2015, the actor discussed his relationship with his biological father.

"Everyone knows that I grew up without the presence of my father everyday, something that I will never blame him for because he was a kid, he was 18 years old," Levy said.

The actor also explained that, while he didn't have his father growing up, he now has a good relationship with him. He explained that he believes that his father probably wasn't ready to take the responsibility of fatherhood

"Today we are very close and we have a very nice and different relationship. They are things that just happened that way and I thank God that they happened that way because I know so many things today that I maybe wouldn't have known if I had my dad and my mom next to me," he added.
