"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans is slated to soon face trial on charges of assaulting her ex-fiance's new girlfriend.

According to RadarOnline, the 22-year-old reality TV star is accused of throwing a glass at Jessica Henry in the driveway of her home in late August of this year. She was later taken into custody by Myrtle Beach, South Carolina police.

Evans' attorney has already requested a jury trial and the Administrator for the Horry County area told Radar the case will now automatically be shipped there and a note will be sent to Evans' lawyers alerting them to a trial date that is expected to fall sometime next year.

The long-volatile Evans could have reason for concern. An officer at the scene noted in his police report that her story did not appear to be backed up by the scene.

The officer highlighted Evans claim "that she walked outside and the victim got out of the truck. The arrestee claimed that she was in fear, so she threw water at the victim and the jar slipped from her hand. The arrestee stated that the victim caught the jar and threw it back at the arrestee, striking her back and then broke."

Based on Evans' initial version of events, the officer noted, "This would have made the broken glass somewhere farther in the driveway. I looked and did not observe any redness or any other injury to the arrestee's back."

On the day in question, Griffith called emergency operators to report he was being accosted by his ex.

"I'm over at my ex-fiancée's house and I have text messages where she said she put the rest of my stuff outside," he told a 911 operator. "So I came over to pick it up and I am actually with my girlfriend and she's really jealous; she's really jealous that I have a girlfriend now."
