Seattle Seahawks are getting Bryce Brown back to their roster.

The Seahawks will be re-signing the Wichita, Kansas native running back right after rookie Thomas Rawls got injured, CBS Sports  reported. The 24-year-old was waived by Seattle's NFL team in November but will be returning soon and Hawks head coach Pete Carroll confirmed Brown's inclusion in their camp, per a Twitter post from the team's official account.

Carroll told Seattle Times that he is glad to see Brown again in their team.

"It's a good opportunity to bring a guy back that we have been training that we liked the work that he did. Roster issues made it come and go a little bit here, but we are happy to get him back," the coach said.

Before training with the Seahawks, Brown played two seasons under the Philadelphia Eagles and one year with the Buffalo Bills, per ESPN stats. The Kansas State University alumnus delivered 1,004 rushing yards and six touchdowns in all his three years in the league.

Meanwhile, Rawls, the 22-year-old running back from Flint Michigan, is out for the season due to an ankle injury sustained during their game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Dec. 13, CBS Sports noted. It was a bitter-sweet 35-6 victory for Seattle, who just achieved a fourth consecutive win since losing from the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 15, per the Seahawks' site.

According to ESPN stats, Rawls, who just played a total of 13 games with the Hawks, already posted 830 yards and four touchdowns. NFL.com noted that on Sunday, he was ranked 10th in the league in rushing. He definitely added a different energy to the Seahawks making quarterback Russell Wilson throw 16 touchdowns since Week 11 for their four recent victories. The site even noted that Rawls could have been in the running for the Rookie of the Year award.

Carroll gave an update about Rawls' condition on ESPN.

"I think the torn ligaments are really the problem. I don't think he's going to have to have an operation, from what I understand," the football mentor said.

One solution for their offense dilemma is for veteran running back Marshawn Lynch, who suffered a sports hernia, to return. Still, it is not definitive at this point.

"We'll see how Marshawn does. He was back in rehabbing with us. We'll see where he is. He's got a chance to get back," said the Super Bowl winning coach.

Right now, Seattle's focus is their current lineup. Will Brown help the Seahawks improve the team's winning streak?
