With the vastness of the universe being what it is, it's rather hard to believe that Earth is the only planet in the entirety of the universe that holds sustainable life. Whether the "life" on other planets includes little green men is, of course, up for debate, and quite highly unlikely. But to deny that any other form of life exists on any other planet, throughout all the galaxies in the entire vast universe, requires a suspension of reality that not even the most skeptical of scientists can accept.

And a new photo released by NASA is giving UFO watchers some hope that there are, indeed, other intelligent life forms out there. According to The Wire, NASA's Curiosity rover transmitted an image which features a source of artifical light. But don't expect NASA to confirm the existence of Alien Life Forms, according to Scott C. Waring, the founder of UFO Sighting's Daily: "This is not a glare from the sun, nor is it an artifact of the photo process. Look closely at the bottom of the light. It has a very flat surface giving us 100 percent indiction it is from the surface. Sure NASA could go and investigate it, but hey, they are not on Mars to discovery life, but there to stall its discovery," he said.

Nonetheless, according to SF Gate, a NASA spokesman said that this is nothing unusual, and certainly nothing to suggest that there are other life forms out there. "Among the thousands of images received from Curiosity, ones with bright spots show up nearly every week," said Guy Webster. "One possibility is that the light is the glint from a rock surface reflecting the sun. When these images were taken each day, the sun was in the same direction as the bright spot, west-northwest from the rover, and relatively low in the sky. The rover science team is also looking at the possibility that the bright spots could be caused by cosmic rays striking the camera's detector."

And further evidence suggests that there definitely is NO life on Mars: since 1976, NASA has sent several unmanned missions to Mars to discover life forms -- most notably, the Viking space rovers -- but they've discovered no forms of life, either bacterial or otherwise. Allegedly, of course.
