Plenty of Latino stars have taken on the challenge of giving their fans something new to listen to during the holidays by taking on covers of classic Christmas tunes.

The former Disney starlet took on Mariah Carey's iconic Christmas tune "All I Want for Christmas Is You" at the "Christmas in Washington" 2012 concert. With the Obamas in attendance, Lovato sang her heart out and nailed it.

Selena Gomez

During the Disney Parks Parade in 2010, Gomez took to the stage to perform a pop rock version of the Christmas classic "Winter Wonderland" for a crowd of screaming fans.

For Christmas 2013, the bachata star released "Mi Regalo Favorito" (My Favorite Gift), a bachata-inspired holiday tune for the "Parranda All-Stars Navidad" album.

The Spanish superstar took his shot at Christmas music with his 2007 song "Warmest Wishes." It is the one and only Christmas tune released by the Spanish star.

Thalía

The Mexican-American music superstar performed on stage with singer Michael Bublé to sing a combination of "Mis Deseos" and "Feliz Navidad" for Bublé's holiday special in December 2011.

Ricky Martin

The Puerto Rican superstar released his own Christmas song with "Ay Ay Ay It's Christmas," which was featured on Rosie O'Donnell's second Christmas album in 2000. The song features the popular musical stylings of the Puerto Rican superstar.

Aventura

The famous bachata group, who will be reuniting in February 2016, released the classic Latino Christmas tune "El Burrito de Belen."

Shakira

The Colombian pop singer hit the stage in New York for the annual "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" concert in 2009. Her deep voice was perfect for the playful, seductive classic song.

Gloria Estefan


The Cuban music icon released an entire Christmas album, called "Christmas Through Your Eyes," in 1993. The singer released the title track, an original piece she wrote with Diane Warren, along with a few other songs.

Becky G

Pop singer Becky G shared her original song "Christmas Soldier" on YouTube. The star, who had been sharing music on the social media platform before she became famous, dedicated the song to American troops who are away from home during the holidays.
