"WWE SmackDown" filmed its final episode for 2015 and SyFy before moving to the USA Network.

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day appear to still feud against The Lucha Dragons. As the tag champions opened the show to commemorate New Year's Eve, The Dudley Boyz and then Lucha Dragons' member Kalisto interrupted the trio. The other Lucha Dragon member, Sin Cara, received a legitimate shoulder injury during his match against Big E at the last "Monday Night Raw." With New Day, The Dudleys and Kalisto in the ring, naturally, a six-man tag match occurred. The match ended with New Day taking the loss.

Another tag team match was announced for the show's main event: Dean Ambrose and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus and Kevin Owens.

Tyler Breeze defeated Goldust. The match also saw Breeze and Summer Rae end their relationship.

In further tag-team competition, The Usos fought against Wyatt Family members Luke Harper and Braun Strowman. The Wyatts would win the match.

The tag matches were not exclusive to the men, as the divas also had a tag-team match. Brie Bella and Alicia Fox defeated Team BAD members Naomi and Tamina.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Bo Dallas.

Finally, in the main event, Ambrose and Reigns defeated Sheamus and Owens via disqualification due to excessive fighting and the referee losing control of the match. The show concluded with Reigns punching Owens.

Starting Jan. 7, 2016, "SmackDown" makes another move to the USA Network, although the show will remain on Thursdays, but taped on Tuesdays.

This week's viewers, however, should expect promos and recaps from Mr. McMahon's announcement that Reigns will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus on the Jan. 4, 2016, edition of "Monday Night Raw." McMahon will serve as the special guest referee of the match.
