Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines addressed calls to share the crown with Miss Colombia Ariadna Guttierez. Is Wurtzbach willing to share the title to Gutierrez?

Gutierrez was initially named as the 2015 Miss Universe but pageant host Steve Harvey committed a mistake in reading the cue card. Harvey returned to the stage and named Wurtzbach as the real winner, while Gutierrez ended up as the first runner-up.

Presidential candidate Donald Trump, who decided to sell his stake in the Miss Universe franchise last year, suggested that Wurtzbach and Gutierrez should be named co-winners.

When asked about the suggestion of crown-sharing during her appearance on Good Morning America, Wurtzbach said she wants the best for Gutierrez and her fellow contestants but admitted that it will be difficult for two beauty queens to share one crown.

"I think it would be a little bit difficult for two girls to share a crown," Gutierrez admitted. "But I have high hopes that this will give great opportunities for me and Miss Colombia and the rest of the contestants."

Gutierrez recently admitted that she felt humiliated, especially when the crown was being taken away from her. While the embarrassing experience is still fresh in her mind, she is thankful for the attention she is getting. In fact, she revealed that she is receiving offers, including job proposals in the United States.

"As we say in Colombia, we killed two birds with one stone," Gutierrez said in a recent interview. "I got Miss Universe and now I am free to accept all the job proposals I want."

Wurtzbach Defends Steve Harvey

Meanwhile, Wurtzbach also defended Harvey from his critics, saying that fans should understand that any host is prone to errors, especially on live television.

"It's live television," Wurtzbach said. "People make mistakes and Steve Harvey was very gracious to apologize. I accept his apology and I think it speaks a lot about his character."

The 26-year-old beauty queen suggested that the way the result was written on the cue card was confusing. She added that she has no doubt in mind that Harvey will get another chance to prove himself.

"Yeah, why not?" Wurtzbach said, when asked if Harvey should host the pageant again. "I think he's a breath of fresh air, he made us feel very relaxed, the contestants. It makes us show our personalities a little bit more. I think that benefits everybody, especially the viewers."
