Antonio Vazquez, Mexico's self-proclaimed Grand Warlock, said in his latest predictions that United States presidential hopeful Donald Trump will not win, while Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman will die this year.

Using his tarot cards, Vazquez said that Trump will not win in the presidential race and will actually fail to get Republican nomination. He said, though, that Trump will still run for president this year as an independent candidate.

"Trump won't really become the Republican candidate. He's flaming out on his own," Vazquez said.

However, it should be noted that Vazquez also predicted before that US president Barack Obama will not be reelected, when he ran against Mitt Romney in 2012.

Meanwhile, Vazquez, who has been giving his annual predictions in press conferences over the past 30 years, also said that the Sinaloa cartel leader Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman will die this year.

Guzman managed to escape from maximum security prison last year for the second time. Vazquez said that Mexican authorities will succeed in hunting the drug dealer, but they will not bring him back to jail. He predicted that authorities will decide to kill "El Chapo" instead of arresting him to avoid taking another risk.

"If they find him, and there's a great possibility that they will, they will kill him," Vazquez said. "The police and army have been advised to kill him. They won't risk losing him for a third time."

Aside from predicting Trump and Vazquez's fate this year, the white-bearded Mexican also said that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's reign will come to a bloody end.

"I think that his reign ends this year but not without blood," said Vazquez, who previously correctly predicted the death of Hugo Chavez. "There were will be strong clashes within the population. There will be many deaths, many problems. Maduro won't go on this year, but I don't think he stays alive either."

Vazquez also mentioned that tension in the Middle East will reach another level because of the ongoing dispute between Saudi Arabia and Iran, while ISIS will launch more suicide attacks in Europe. He added that climate change will continue to be a concern this year, predicting more earthquakes and hurricanes.

While most of his predictions were inaccurate, there were also instances that he looked prophetic, including the time when he correctly predicted the result of the 2012 Mexican presidential election and Mexico's victory against Cameroon in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
