Peter Florrick will experience drama on the campaign trail when he, his family and his team take a bus trip to Iowa in Sunday's all-new episode.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode, which is aptly titled "Iowa," teases that Peter's family and campaign team will bump heads in Iowa.

"Tensions run high as the entire Florrick family is crammed into Peter's (Chris Noth) campaign bus with Eli (Allan Cumming) and Ruth (Margo Martindale) on their way to the Iowa Caucuses. Once there, Peter attempts a high-risk political stunt to gain votes for his presidential bid," it reads.

The CBS series also released several sneak peek videos about "Iowa." In one video, Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Ruth share a heart-to-heart moment after Alicia admits that she is confused about the meaning of life.

"I used to think I knew what life was about, but I don't have a clue," says the attorney.

"Cherish that moment," says Ruth in response, "when you realize that you don't know what life's about, that's truth."

In another preview video, members of Peter's campaign team are seen arguing over the best strategy to engage voters Iowa, a key battleground state in the presidential primary race. Ruth wants to go to three counties in the state, but Eli contends that going to all three counties would make Peter appear "desperate" for votes. When asked her opinion, Alicia sides with Ruth, which seems to be a direct shot against Eli.

It has also been revealed that "Glee" alum Matthew Morrison has signed onto "The Good Wife" in a reoccurring role as an assistant U.S. attorney named Connor Fox, reports Entertainment Weekly. Morrison's character is described as a tough and smart. He is also responsible for putting the last four Illinois governors in jails. As a result, he won't be too warm towards the Florricks.

Episode 11 of Season 7 of "The Good Wife," "Iowa," airs on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
