The start of the new year has brought a change in management for pop group Fifth Harmony, who are now overseen by Maverick Management.

Maverick tweeted a welcome message to the group on Jan. 11 confirming the group's addition to the team's roster of clients.

"Welcome to the Maverick family, @FifthHarmony!" the management group wrote.

According to Billboard, up until now the group has been managed by Jared Paul of Faculty Productions.

Maverick is made up of CEO Guy Oseary and nine managers, including Larry Rudolph, Ron Laffitte and Gee Roberson.

Together they oversee the careers of several successful artists, including Madonna, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, U2, Paul McCartney, Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne and OneRepublic.

The change in management suggests possible new ventures for the pop group, who have been the recent subject of breakup speculation.

Back in September, Camila Cabello started rumors of a possible breakup for the group with a statement she made in the November issue of Latina magazine.

Cabello suggested that occasional disagreements and being part of a manufactured band made a break up imminent.

Soon after, the group made sure to put on a united front by revealing that they were working on a sophomore album and weren't going anywhere. However, the topic soon came up again while the group toured Europe in November.

During an interview with EuropaFM, the group members were asked where they see themselves in five years. In her response, Dinah Jane Hansen further fueled the breakup rumors.

"We've been together for basically three years now and looking back ... we're very, very ... happy with where we're at right now," Hansen said. "But from here on out, we want to hopefully win a couple more awards together ... maybe build more music together as well. But I feel like we'll probably go our separate ways later on. That's the truth."
