Drake dissed his "Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2" collaborator Jay Z during the telecast of the Brooklyn Nets' game against the Toronto Raptors.

The rapper is currently an ambassador for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, which includes the NBA's Toronto Raptors, the NHL's Maple Leafs and the MLS' Toronto FC. He previously hosted "Drake Night" at his team's match against the Brooklyn Nets on Jan. 11. He also co-hosted the halftime festivities, spoke during the pre-game show, and introduced the Raptors' starting line-up.

On Saturday, April 19, Drake referred to Jay Z, who was once the minority owner of the Nets. "Jay Z is somewhere eating a fondue plate," he said. "It's our time. We've got to keep it competitive. This is an ironic match-up."

This is not the first time that Drake has dissed Hov. During his interview with Rolling Stone in February, Drake criticized Jay Z for making references to art in his lyrics, which Jay Z later responded on Jay Electronica's "We Made It," saying, "Sorry, Mrs. Drizzy, for so much art talk."

Despite the Canadian rapper's wish for his team's victory, the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Toronto Raptors 94-87 to take the first game in the playoff series. Game 2 is scheduled for April 22 at 7:30 p.m. at Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Ontario.

In addition, Jay Z renounced ownership of the Brooklyn Nets in 2013. "Being a member of the Nets organization surpassed some of my greatest ambitions," he said. "It was never about an investment; it was about the Nets and Brooklyn. My job as an owner is over but as a fan it has just begun. I'm a Brooklyn Net forever."
