Hip-hop artist Lil Wayne stormed offstage during a performance at Milan Fashion Week on Saturday night.

TMZ obtained a video of the incident, in which the Young Money rapper appeared to give up on the crowd at the Philipp Plein show, frustrated with their lack of excitement.

In the video, Wayne jumps straight into his performance accompanied by what looks like a conductor and orchestra. After telling the audience to put their hands up -- and getting a less than enthusiastic response -- Wayne turns backstage and says, "This is what you want me to do? You serious? You want me to do this this bullsh*t?"

According to an Instagram post by Milan journalist Laura Rysman, Wayne was on the stage for all but 10 seconds before he called it quits. She also reported that he hopped in a cap and left the venue shortly after the incident.

A Lil Wayne representative later told TMZ that the rap star did not end the show due to the audience but because of technical difficulties and problems with his microphone.

Despite this explanation, Wayne did seem to have some frustration with his experience in Milan. He later posted a not too subtle diss to Italy via his Twitter account.

As for the crowd's lackluster energy and unresponsiveness, some have speculated it may have been due to a language barrier. Even so, it may be some time before Wayne is willing to perform in Italy again.
