Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are on the verge of getting a divorce. The couple was even reported to be living separately for a year already. But is Brangelina really heading for splitsville?

The divorce rumors are not new to the couple as they have been hounded with this kind of reports for years. Despite the write-ups, Jolie and Pitt proved the claims wrong as they have stayed together for nearly 12 years now.

According to Inquisitr, the resurgence of the divorce issue was due to the front page report of the tabloid magazine National Enquirer. The tabloid put Brangelina's photo on its cover and headlined it with "$480 Million Court Battle: Angie and Brad Secret Divorce Papers." Inquisitr stated that the front cover news was a fabricated story for the tabloid to earn money.

Then again, Hollywood Life followed up the claims of Jolie-Pitt divorce by writing that the couple are already living in different houses for a year. The article further said "Mr. And Mrs. Smith" stars are only trying to be in good terms for the sake of their kids.

"The past few months have been tough on Brad and Angie because they've both been very wrapped up in their own projects," a source supposedly told Hollywood Life.

"They went from doing 'By The Sea' together and having all this time as a family to spending the majority of their time apart. That is hard on them. Whenever they have to spend too much time apart, it causes tension in the relationship," the source added.

To further convince readers that Jolie and Pitt are separating, the online publication even brought back an excerpt from Jolie's previous interview with Telegraph where the actress said: "We have fights and problems like any other couple. We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad and want space."

Nonetheless, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are not planning to divorce according to another report of Inquisitr. Rather, the A-list pair is planning to move to London soon because Pitt is set to film "World War Z" in March.

Brangelina is also the producer of the sci-fi sequel movie so they are exerting more efforts in its filming. On the other hand, while the 52-year-old actor works on the film, Jolie will focus on her humanitarian activities.

The stars are now looking for a home where their family can reside for about six months, Daily Mail UK reported.

"They want to buy[a home], but have yet to find a place that suits their needs like it should have an underground drive-in entrance and highly secured," the source said.
