The fans can't wait for the next "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC drop and EA Games knows it. The developer teased their followers on Twitter on Monday, telling them to "Prepare for a cold front coming through 'Star Wars Battlefront' tomorrow."

According to a report from Game Spot, the tweet on social media included an image of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and a Tauntum in the midst of the freezing cold in the planet Hoth. There are no other clues on the next update in the tweet, but it could mean more information would finally be revealed on the content of the patch on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

A few days ago, a report from WCCF Tech revealed a video from EA Brasil which announced several details on the new update including a new Tatooine map. The characters of Luke and Leia are expected to receive new outfits, and this upcoming pack is reportedly not one of the releases in the Season Pass.

However, "Star Wars Battlefront" lead lighting artist Oscar Carlen denied the leaks, according to a separate report from Game Spot. The EA Games artist explained why the video was removed from the web saying on Twitter, "There were some misinformation so it was taken down. It is still a great patch, I don't think you will be disappointed."

In another tweet, Carlen also confirmed that the January update will not include a new map.

No doubt, fans are counting down the days until the release of brand new content. The last DLC is the Battle of Jakku in December, which was free and featured a new map and mode. The Game Spot report said that the developer will be offering at least four paid expansion packs as well as free maps and Star Cards to the players.

The new year promises endless potential for one of the biggest releases in the gaming community in 2015. During the start of the month, a report in WCCF Tech confirmed that EA Games is looking into the technical issues of the "Star Wars Battlefront" offline multiplayer, since making online modes playable offline is one of the most prominent requests of a lot of fans of the game.

In other "Star Wars" news, the next film in the new trilogy will be delayed in hitting the cinemas. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Star Wars: Episode VIII" will now be shown in theaters on Dec. 15, 2017 instead of May 2017.
