The Season 3 finale of "Scandal" ended with a bang and as expected, left fans craving for more. Although Season 4 of the hit political drama series won't premiere until October, there's already speculation about what's in store.

Some fans say that Mellie's life will be in danger when the show returns in the fall being that she may have contracted the fatal virus that killed her son. As fans will recall, Episode 18 ended with a game-changing twist when Mellie and Fitz's teenage son died after being infected by a rare strain of bacterial meningitis by Rowan. As a result, little Jerry ended up sneezing blood and collapsing on stage during his father's last campaign speech. He then died a short time later in the hospital.

According to Yahoo! TV writer Maggie Furlong, little Jerry may have spread the disease to Mellie when he sneezed and coughed up blood. As a result, her health may be in jeopardy.

"I don't Google things about medicine on the Internet because I get myself all worked up," said actress Bellamy Young in response to Furlong's theory. "But now I'll be all worked up! I don't know! He did, he sneezed all over me, there was blood all over my blazer..."

TV fans are also debating over whether there will be more Andrew on Season 4, according to CarterMatt.com. Now that Fitz is in power, the door is open for the veep to run for president someday. Some say that having Andrew stick around as a lead character on the show complicates Mellie's life and will add drama. However, others reason that his affair with the First Lady was thoroughly explored in Season 3, and therefore, there is no new ground left to trek in their relationship.
