The British royals have recently been the talk-of-the-town with reports claiming Kate Middleton's third pregnancy to Prince Harry's current relationship status. And while royal watchers are eager to know the latest scoop on their personal lives, Duchess Kate, Prince William and Prince Harry are quite busy juggling their royal engagements.

This 2016 will definitely be one of the busiest years for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Aside from their upcoming official visits to India and Bhutan in the spring, the royal couple will reportedly join Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla Parker-Bowles in France this summer, Daily Express reported.

Duchess Kate and Prince William will be gracing events in northern France on June 30 as they join the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Somme. Prince Harry as well as the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester will also join the royals.

The Battle of Somme is an important event in British military history and is celebrated every July 1, the first day of the offensive in which British forces suffered the largest loss of life in a single day, where 60,000 casualties and 20,000 deaths were recorded.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, on the other hand, will not travel to France. Instead, they will attend an evening vigil at Westminster Abbey on June 30. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will also continue their traditional summer visit to Edinburgh, Scotland for Holyrood Week, where they embark on a series of official engagements.

Aside from the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, Cambridge, Gloucester and Prince Harry, other members of the Royal Family will also be on duty at the Somme commemoration events. In fact, Prince Andrew will attend a national commemoration service in Manchester, while Princess Anne will go to Canada.

The Somme anniversary will be one of the biggest set-piece royal events of the year after the events commemorating the Queen's 90th birthday on April 21.

Speaking of the Queen's birthday, a ballot for free tickets to her birthday celebration has been opened to the public on Monday, Feb. 15. As part of the celebration, there will be a four-night theatrical spectacle on The Long Walk in the grounds of Home Park, Windsor Castle from May 12 to 15.

The final night of the Queen's equestrian-themed 90th birthday celebration show will be held on May 15, Sunday. And among the performers is singer Katherine Jenkins.

Meanwhile, the ballot will close on Mar. 14. Winners will be randomly drawn and will be notified by email by the end of March.

In other news, Kate Middleton, who was recently photographed as she prepared to board a helicopter that cost the taxpayers thousands of pounds, is not pregnant with twins. Duchess Kate's pregnancy claims were debunked by Gossip Cop, saying the report that was published by Ok! Magazine was "made up" and "erroneously announced."

"Middleton is not even pregnant, and the Palace exclusively assures it never made any such confirmation," the publication wrote.
