Many are excited for the arrival of "X-Men: Apocalypse." As we near its premiere date, more and more details surface, suggesting that the film is something fans should look forward to.

Quicksilver Entertains Many In His First "X-Men" Appearance

In "X-Men Days of Future Past," many were impressed with Quicksilver's speed ability. Initially, many thought that the character was more than a comic relief and his ability to make time seems to run slow made him popular. Thus, the production decided to keep him in "X-Men: Apocalypse."

Simon Kinberg, "X-Men: Days of Future Past" screenwriter, admitted that they are planning to expand Quicksilver's part and grow it into a franchise.

"People have seen the movie and he's one of the most beloved things in the film universally, there's no question that he's going to be a big part of the next movie," Kinberg said.

Evan Peters Speaks About Bigger Role

Peters confirmed that Quicksilver will have a bigger role, longer screen time and more detailed involvement in "X-Men: Apocalypse." "Yeah, Quicksilver does his thing again, in the new film. It's bigger, longer and more detailed," he said.

He also admitted that while his previous character was more comical, he is more mature this time because the film is in a more serious tone. He teased that Quicksilver is now into music, he cleaned a bit and he is not the klepto fans saw in the first film anymore.

Peters added that "X-Men: Apocalypse" will open the doors for Quicksilver to join the "X-Men" and be part of the force that fights evil.

Deadpool in "X-Men: Apocalypse" and Spin-offs

Meanwhile, Fox's latest superhero flick "Deadpool" is a blockbuster. It features two "X-Men" characters, Colossus and Negasonic. Now, many are wondering if fans will see Deadpool in the upcoming "X-Men" films like "X-Men: Apocalypse" or its spin-off "X-Force."

There are rumors that there is a big possibility for Deadpool to appear in "X-Men" films, but it should take place in the same era as the film. The latest sequel takes place in the '80s, while "Deadpool" takes place in the modern era.

One theory suggests that if Deadpool were to appear in the "X-Men" film, it would probably have to be a pre-Weapon X version of the character. Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool loves protecting teenage girls from stalkers. So, perhaps the production can add a scene where Wilson protects Jean Grey or Jubilee from some potential adversary to introduce the character.
