LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are in the headlines for the wrong reasons. James has been posting cryptic tweets regarding team chemistry and called the team not playoff ready after a loss against a short-handed Memphis Grizzlies.

There is also the talk of a Miami return as he spent some time with Dwyane Wade last week. The Cavaliers have more work to do and areas that need improvement. They failed to sign seven-time All-Star Joe Johnson, who James desperately wanted to be part of the team.

Johnson went on to sign with the Miami Heat and is currently averaging 14.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists in five games. The 34-year-old could have been a great addition to Cleveland and "King James" was willing to sacrifice to accommodate him.

"A piece like Joe, you know what it does to your team and if he was concerned about playing time or concerned about starting, then I'll sacrifice," James said. "I'll sacrifice to get a guy like that to help us try to win a championship."

Winning Is Everything

The four-time MVP made a good pitch to Johnson that included James playing the power forward position permanently. "If he wanted to come in and start and we wanted to keep J.R. in the starting lineup and if Double-T or Mozzy had to come off the bench in order for Joe to start and slide Kev Love to the five, I would have done it," he said.

James is not a big fan of a permanent move to the four spot, but the way he wanted Johnson to join the Cavs means LeBron really wants to win. It's a sign that the 31-year-old really wants to bring a title to the city of Cleveland this season.

"Man listen, I'll do anything to win. I'll kidnap my momma to win," James said. But with the way they are playing right now despite having the best record in the East, the Golden State Warriors are still the favorites to lift the NBA title this year.

What if the Cavs Come Up Short Again?

It's the biggest question for the Cavaliers heading into this season. What if they don't win their first-ever NBA championship? Will LeBron James stay or break the heart of Cleveland fans again and leave?

"The King" could opt out of his contract and become a free agent again this offseason. However, Adrian Wojnarowski thinks James will finish his career in Cleveland. He pointed out that if he leaves the city for the second time, it will be damaging to his reputation.
