The SXSW Film Festival is one of the most anticipated of events every year as film, TV, Tech and music leaders arrive to present their latest work. This year will be filled with a number of Latino leaders in diverse areas that show off the impact they are making in media and the arts.

Alexis Tirado

As part of the Marketing Latino Cool event, Alexis Tirado will be part of the panel. Tirado, who is the Editorial Director of Flama Univision's site for Latino millennials, will talk about the evolution of Latino culture and the way Latino media is developing to focus on the new generations of Latin Americans. One of the major issues in today's culture is that companies are still focusing on the older generations of Latinos and they are not honing in on the new generations and what they like.

Using her skills and her experience, this panel will showcase the new strategies that are being used.

Tirado has a range of experience working with diverse cultures and entertainment. Prior to her work with Univision she worked as an editor and writer for MTV, Alicia Keys and Martha Stewart. She has also worked with Latina, Lucky, InStyle, Village Voice, and Time Out New York.

Robyn Moreno

Robyn Moreno will be signing her book at this year's festival in the Austin Convention center. Moreno is one of the most respected authors of her generation and her latest book is due out this year. It is entitled "Hecho By You: Make a Life You Love From The Inside Out" and it will be the book she is signing at the festival. Aside from her work as an author, Moreno is the Executive Editor of Beauty & Lifestyle of Latina magazine and Latina.com. She is also an Emmy-nominated TV host, author, and blogger at RobynMoreno.com. Moreno's influence has also transcended to TV where she has appeared over 50 times on the Today show as well as on Weekend Today, Extra, CBS Early Morning Show, The Meredith Vieira Show, The Steve Harvey Show, The Nate Berkus Show, Fox and Friends, and CNBC, among other national and local outlets. She has been at SXSW before as part of the SXSW Interactive.

Diego Galicia

If there is something that Latinos love, it is food. Chef and restaurateur Diego Galicia will present an interactive panel on his own personal tastes. He take audiences back to cuisines of early Central and South America and will show viewers what it was to eat without any major proteins. Instead he will allow audiences to sample food that is rich and complex in flavors. He will also talk about food startups and the veteran chefs that will embrace the past. Galicia is a Mexican chef who has worked in Mexico at Azul Condesa, San Francisco and Chicago.
