Marc Anthony and Dayanara Torres have been fighting over money.

Torres wants Anthony's child support payments to increase from $13,000 to $113,000 a month for their two children, Cristian, 13, and Ryan, 10, notes TV y Novelas. Anthony says that though he's rich, he's not that rich.

Torres says the money she currently receives only pays for the modest, three-room apartment in Los Angeles that she shares with their children. She thinks that one of the problems is the different experiences their children have when they are with him as opposed to with her.

She says that compared to their lifestyle with Anthony, they live near poverty now. Torres said she's had to sell her home and move into San Fernando Valley, California apartment.

Anthony adds that he does not provide child support for his children with Jennifer Lopez. He spends $435,000 monthly and has four properties valued at $32 million. On top of that, he financially helps out his 19-year-old daughter as well as other family members that go to college and his parents.

Experts say that this is a battle that Anthony will lose and that he'll have to pay Torres more money. She says that he has made $60 million in the last four years, but he said the figure is closer to $40 million.

Anthony has said he doesn't want his children to have too much money because wealth can lead to dangerous behavior, such as turning to drugs. He hired a psychologist who said that children with unlimited funds "become high-risk for illicit drugs, alcohol and a fast-paced lifestyle that they are not emotionally capable of handling" as teenagers, reported the Daily Mail.
