If you were hooked by the pilot season of "Daredevil," then you are about to have another reason to binge watch via Netflix.

The people behind the TV series promise to pique the audience's interest even more this upcoming season. In a press briefing in Los Gatos, California, lead actor Charlie Cox said, "the emotional journey is more extreme." The man without fear will return to Netflix this Friday, March 18. And, you can watch the final teaser for season 2 below.

The "Daredevil" Reinvented

The Netflix TV series is under the production of Marvel Television together with ABC Studios. "Daredevil" will be executive produced by the show's creator Drew Goddard ("The Martian") and Jeph Loeb ("Agent Carter" and "Jessica Jones").

While season one producer Steven DeKnight decided to leave the show to focus on his work with the "Transformers" films, new producers will come aboard to help set the tone for a more frenetic pace this season. The show will welcome Doug Petrie ("Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and "American Horror Story") and Marco Ramirez ("DaVinci's Demons") for the second season. And, the lead actor already has something good to say about Ramirez and Petrie.

"I was very impressed that Marco and Doug were willing to try something different. Rather than try to re-create something from last year because it proved to be a success, they recognized that the second season[s] of television shows are difficult anyway, and [that] the best thing to do was to try to reinvent it in its own way, while keeping all the elements that had made it successful. I did think it was smart that they didn't try to stick to the same format," Cox said.

Petrie, on the one hand, hopes to infuse something that will set the upcoming season apart from its predecessor. "We don't want to be a karaoke cover band," he said. "We've been able to treat this like this is our run of Daredevil."

Casting for the New Season

Joining Charlie Cox, who will reprise his role as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer by day who moonlights as the crime-fighting vigilante come nightfall, are Jon Bernthal ("The Wolf of Wall Street") who will make his first appearance in the series as Frank Castle aka the Punisher and Elodie Yung ("G.I. Joe: Retaliation" and "Gods of Egypt") who will play the role of Elektra Natchios from Murdock's past.

Also making a return for season two are Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page and Scott Glenn as Stick.
