Floyd Mayweather has once again come forward to reiterate that he is not and will never be interested to step back into the ring to face eight-time division champion Manny Pacquiao.

Despite recurring talk that a rematch between the two pound-for-pound kings may happen somewhere in the future, the undefeated American has once again come forth to douse water on all speculations.

To this day, many are still not buying into the claim that Mayweather is done and over with boxing. He last took the ring in September where he scored an easy unanimous decision over Andre Berto.

The win allowed Mayweather to tie the 49-0 record of Rocky Marciano and cap his colorful boxing career despite belief by many that the American boxer will eventually realize he can break the record and don his boxing trunks at least one more time.

That is the basis of most of linking him with another match with Pacquiao mainly because it poses as the most financially rewarding matchup despite a disappointing fight in May 2015.

Pacquiao Will Be Waiting

Manny Pacquiao is on the verge of retiring as well and such will happen after his April 9 date with Timothy Bradley Jr. who he will face for a third time at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao is calling it a career to focus on his political aspirations but is leaving the door slightly open for a return if Mayweather agrees to fight him one last time.

But with Mayweather repeatedly claiming he is not interested, it could very well be Pacquiao’s last fight unless Bob Arum or Freddie Roach find some way to convince the boxer/lawmaker to fight again after facing “Desert Storm."

It’s a Closed Book for Mayweather

For Mayweather, any information coming from other people is purely their opinion. That includes his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr., who recently hinted that it could happen again if Pacquiao really wants it.

Mayweather touched on the matter and clarified that such was his father’s opinion and not his so it doesn’t meant that a rematch with Pacquiao is possible.

"I don't want to hear this anymore, Floyd Mayweather-Pacquiao. That's over with. That chapter is over with. That's totally over with. I don't want to hear nothing else about Mayweather-Pacquiao. That's not going to ever happen again. That will never happen again. Never. Out of 12 rounds and I win 10 out of 12 rounds, why should I have to prove myself? Blowout!" said Mayweather.
