Cris “Cyborg” Justino will finally make her much-awaited UFC debut with reports that the Invicta featherweight champion will be in the cards when UFC 198 takes center stage at her hometown in Brazil.

The match was made official recently, but she will be going up against someone who wasn’t speculated by most. There are those who hoped to see Justino against Holly Holm or even Miesha Tate, but the official word out is that it will be Leslie Smith instead.

Cyborg’s First UFC Match Booked

Justino will face Smith at the Arena da Baixada where both will meet at the 140-pound weight class.

"It's a dream come true for Cris, not only to fight in front of her home crowd but to step into the Octagon. We're just happy the UFC is giving her this opportunity," said George Prajin,Cyborg’s manager. "We're not looking past this fight. One month ago, we thought it would be a Hail Mary to get into the UFC. Now we have this opportunity. They're the boss. Whatever they want moving forward is what's next for her."

Justino will finally be seen in the Octagon after botched attempts to do so in the past. Notable was a big fight night involving Ronda Rousey which went in disarray following Rowdy’s loss at UFC 193. Holm and Tate were mentioned as possible opponents, but it eventually ended up being Smith.

Moving forward, UFC 200 is also another big event that has yet to reveal the cards for the night. The only thing imminently happening is that rematch involving Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor which will be fought under the same conditions. Aside from that, here are other potentially brewing matches that could make sense.

Dennis Bermudez Wants B.J. Penn at UFC 200

Dennis Bermudez is looking to move up in the featherweight rankings following his recent unanimous decision win over Tatsuya Kawajiri at UFC Fight Night 83 last February. It was a critical win for Bermudez who had suffered two straight losses prior to that win.

Anything that happens from here will make or break his rise up the ranking and his preferred opponent could make that match something to look forward to.

The fighter he has in mind is B.J. Penn, someone he refers to as a legend. While the matchup could be interesting, Penn’s recent run could be in question.

Penn has lost five of his last seven fights, compounded by off-ring issues for an alleged assault at his home in Hawaii. With that said, a dream fight for Bermudez could be questionable meaning he may want to re-check his list on other fighters he can possibly face.

Georges St-Pierre to Officially Return

Another UFC legend who could be up for a UFC 200 appearance is former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. He has been on hiatus since 2013 but Renzo Gracie strongly believes that St-Pierre will be UFC returning to UFC this July.

"He's [St-Pierre is] coming back for sure," Gracie said. "That boy, the best thing he does in life is fighting. Look for how long he's been a champion. He overcame so many obstacles,” said Gracie.

If ever he does return, rumors suggest that St-Pierre could be best pitted against McGregor or Anderson Silva. The problem is booking that fight. With McGregor likely to face Diaz at UFC 200, Silva is also set to fight at UFC 198 against Uriah Hall this May 14.

If so, this crosses out two big names St-Pierre could fight. Just like Bermudez and with the assumption that he is indeed returning, a new name may be needed for consideration.
