My brother David Salazar believes Real Madrid stands a chance. Find out his reasoning Here.

Barcelona and Real Madrid will face off in the biggest soccer game in the world this weekend.

Barcelona enters the game as the runaway favorite, having already compiled a huge points on Los Blancos and also runaway with a massive undefeated run that is closing in on 40 games. Throw in the 4-0 away win last fall and there is little reason to doubt that Barcelona can beat Madrid. Here are some other reasons why the deed is inevitable.

The game is scheduled for Saturday April 2 at the Camp Nou in Barcelona. Kick-off starts at 2:30 PM EST.

MSN Superiority

The MSN is better than the BBC. Of that there is no doubt, especially considering health and overall performance. Here is the basic breakdown.

Overall, the Barcelona trio has amassed a whopping 98 games together this season in La Liga and the Champions League. If you include other competitions, they have 118. Together they have scored 107 goals and 51 assists in all competitions. If we only include La Liga and the UCL, that number drops to a respectable 84 goals and 40 assists.

The BBC has only competed in two competitions, amassed a whopping 85 games together, 80 goals and 25 assists. Throw in the fact that Ronaldo's goals have balanced that equation (he has 41 overall while his two teammates combined have 39) as opposed to Messi and Suarez each contributed over 30 goals a pop and the danger is very obvious.

Better Defense

The boxcar numbers could tell this story rather clearly. Through 30 games Blaugrana has conceded just 24 times while Madrid has allowed 28 goals. But the big difference comes down to shot prevention. According to WhoScored, Madrid allows over 11.4 shots against per game while Barcelona only lets 10.1 shots come their way per game. Barcelona simply knows how to contain opposing offenses while Madrid, ranked eighth in La Liga in this category is far more susceptible.

Home Field Advantage

The last time Los Blancos defeated Barcelona in Catalonia was April 21, 2012 when Los Blancos were getting ready to clinch the Spanish League title. It has been three La Liga games in Barcelona since that outcome has been repeated for the victor. Moreover, prior to that game, you would have to go back to December 2007 to find Madrid's previous win in Barcelona's hallowed grounds.

The reality is that Barcelona simply has Real's number on its homefield and overall in recent years to be overlooked as the favorite to take it all home on Saturday.
