Prince Royce is a beloved judge on "La Voz Kids," and though he is loving it, there's one part that has proven very difficult.

"For me, and I know for the other coaches as well, the most difficult thing that can happen is having to eliminate a child from the contest," he said to TV y Novelas. "One gets used to being around them for weeks and suddenly they tell you that six children have to leave. It's very sad, but it's part of the show."

At least not everything is a sad affair.

He gets along with his fellow judges, especially Natalia Jiménez.

"I barely open my mouth and they laugh," he said. "The chemistry between us is very good that they're going to end up firing us."

He added that he'd prefer if the audience were the ones to vote because he feels bad putting the children through it. But as part of the job, he also gets to teach these children everything he has learned.

The almost 25-year-old Bachata singer released his first album in 2010. "Stand by Me" and "Corazón Sin Cara" were commercially successful and were No. 1 on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart.

It's really been a lot of success for Prince Royce since his first album.

He was named one of the most 50 Most Beautiful People by People en Español. He released his second album "Phase II" in 2012. For this year's Billboard Latin Music Awards, he won the Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year (Male), Streaming Song of the Year, Latin Pop Songs Artist of the Year (Solo) and Tropical Songs Artist of the Year (Solo).

The contestants of "La Voz Kids" are certainly in good hands.
