You're used to seeing LeBron James on the small screen, but he'll be making his way to the big screen.

Judd Apatow's next project "Trainwreck" has an interesting cast, indeed. Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, Tilda Swinton, Method Man and Barkhad Abdi will be joining Lebron James.

Apatow took to Twitter to announce the news.

"Lebron James has joined the cast of my next film Trainwreck written by and starring @amyschumer. Welcome @KingJames," he said.

Basketball players trying to break out into other careers has not gone very well in the past. For example, Shaquille O'Neal in "Kazaam" or Michael Jordan in "Space Jam." There was also that time when Kobe Bryant attempted to have a rap career.

Of course, James is no stranger to acting.

He has hosted "Saturday Night Live," he appeared as himself in "Entourage," and he voices Businessman on "Meet the LeBrons." He has also done plenty of commercials for Samsung, which follow him and his real-life family.

It seems Lebron got the acting bug because this is not his only upcoming movie.

He will be playing Kevin Hart's brother in a movie called "Ballers."

In "Ballers," Hart's character will go to a basketball camp in Miami, where he'll be able to step out of James' shadow. The movie will start shooting in the summer. The movie will be produced by Brian Grazer and Michael Rosenberg. The movie was supposed to be filmed in 2011, but it was the year the Miami Heat lost to the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals. He certainly would have been criticized for taking the summer off to shoot a movie, The Wrap said.

James is also working with Universal Pictures on a movie based off his high school basketball career.
