“The Walking Dead” returns to AMC with Season 7 in October 2016 with more gruesome scenes as the last of civilians try to get away from the walkers. An official “TWD” Season 7 trailer shows the following scenes of the next installment of AMC’s hit series as fans anticipate Abraham’s (Michael Cudlitz) fate and the fan-favorite team stumbles upon new survivors.

Fans cannot wait to see who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed in the “The Walking Dead” Season 6 finale cliffhanger. It is clear that he killed someone from the team and even though fans did not see the victim’s face, speculation turns towards Abraham given the character’s fate in the “TWD” comic book series.

Abraham in The Walking Dead

Dr. Denise Cloyd (Merritt Wever) dies in “TWD” Season 6 when a crossbow is shot through the eyes, Screen Rant recalls. Fans of the comic book series would remember that is the same way Abraham went down in the book.

So if Denise was killed in the TV series in the same way that Abraham was killed in the book, it must mean that Abraham's fate is to die soon, leaving him as the lead victim of Negan’s bat named Lucille.

Negan’s Victims

If speculation does not hold up, any member of the team could be dead at the start of “The Walking Dead” Season 7, including Glenn (Steven Yeun), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Carl (Chandler Riggs), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Tara (Alanna Masterson), Morgan (Lennie James), Carol (Melissa McBride) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln).

Who could it be? That is a long list of possible victims.

Michonne and Rick

Fans are hoping that things are pushed forward with Michonne and Rick once the couple stops playing the cat and mouse game.

Yet, Rick is also rumored to be Negan’s victim after Lincoln revealed that his character will have a crappy season but that “TWD” is headed for one of the “biggest showdowns...since Terminus.”

New Survivors in “The Walking Dead” Season 7

Meanwhile, Morgan and Carol are still stumbling upon more survivors while Tara and Heath continue to hunt down walkers. New survivors could mean a bigger team, or trouble, depending on how they are received.

If the new survivors become enemies, the team will have to hunt down more than just walkers and someone else might get a taste of Negan’s famous bat.

Will the team embrace the new survivors? Or will they become a part of the fast growing pack of walkers?

Tune into AMC on Oct. 2 to find out.
