The season finale of "Revenge" offered a series of mind-blowing plot twists: a major death, a "resurrection" and the implementation of a major revenge plot.

In "Execution," Javier is dumped by Charlotte (Christa B. Allen), then is convinced by Nolan (Gabriel Mann) not to leave town. Nolan wants him to stay because he is plotting with Margaux's brother, Gideon, to get back MyClone.

Charlotte then has a flashback after learning that Jack (Nick Wechsler) brought David's ring to Emily instead of her. Charlotte's flashback reveals that he played a role in her kidnapping. Before he can explain, she calls the cops and he's taken into custody.

Later, it turns out that Gideon also wants to pull one over on his sister for making Daniel (Joshua Bowman) her No. 2. Daniel ends up having sex with a coke addict who ODs on his bed, and Gideon and Nolan then gather all the photographic evidence they need to blackmail Daniel.

As for Conrad (Henry Czerny), his bail is denied and David is cleared of the charges against him. Conrad gets roughed up by a guard, but the guard only punches him to keep from being suspected when he dresses Conrad up like a priest. He then lets Conrad walk right out of prison.

The driver who picks up Conrad is David himself. Before Conrad can speak, David stabs Conrad, seemingly to death.

In the end, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) exacts her ultimate revenge against Emily (Emily VanCamp) by lacing Aiden's (Barry Sloane) tea with a poison that paralyzes him.

Victoria then comes into the room and smothers him to death.

"Emily ripped away my chance for true love," Victoria tells Aiden. "It's only fair that I do the same for her."

Emily comes home to find Aiden's corpse posed on the couch in front of a fire.

Emily then lures Victoria to the site of David's grave. Victoria speaks ill of David, then Emily knocks Victoria over the head with a shovel.

Later, Victoria wakes up -- in a mental hospital. Emily tells the doctors that Victoria became convinced that Emily was Amanda, and tried to dig up Amanda to prove it. The story is enough to get Victoria committed.
