Xiaomi has never disappointed their users with their products, and this time the Chinese tech company is coming up with two new smartphones: Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A. Both seem to be rather popular as they're predecessors to the company's popular Redmi 3 smartphone lineup.

The devices are launched at an "affordable" market range in which devices like the Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3, Redmi 3S Prime have previously been sold. Three versions of the new smartphones have been released: Redmi 4 Pro Edition, Redmi 4 standard edition, and the Redmi 4A.

According to Indian Express, Xiaomi's Redmi 4 devices will be 4G LTE-capable. It has a 5-inch TFT display device with 1080p resolution and 2.5D curved glass. Moreover, it's set to have a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor - the same processor as that of Motorola Moto Z. It has  3GB RAM along with 32GB of storage which can be expanded to 128 GB.

Speaking of its camera, its a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, having 5MP in front. The battery if the phone is about 4,100 mAh which is the same to Redmi Note 3. The new Redmi phone will run on the latest MIUI 8 version over Android Marshmallow.

The Redmi 4 standard edition comes with a 720p resolution and Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4Ghz with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space. The expandable storage remains 128GB via microSD, and the rest of the specifications are the same as well, Digital Trends has reported.

As of now, the Redmi 4 smartphones will be available in China. The Standard edition will be priced at CNY 699, The Redmi 4A is priced at CNY 499 and the Redmi 4 Pro is available for CNY 899. All smartphones will be available in three color variants - Gold, Grey and Silver. Their availability in other countries will be announced soon.
