"Big Bang Theory" Season 10 Episode 9, titled "The Geology Elevation," will  be aired on CBS this week. The episode will revolve around Sheldon Cooper's jealous nature  when he learns that the geology department has received a USD 500K grant. Also, for the upcoming December episode, Christopher Lloyd of "Back to the Future" will guest as well.

According to MStarNews, as per the trailer, there will be a beloved character who will return and it's none other than Stephen Hawking, who has guested in many TBBT episodes since Season 5.

In "The Geology Elevation," it is mentioned that Stephen Hawking will return to the series, but there is no confirmation if he will guest star as himself or just his trademark voice. Carter Matt stated on the synopsis that, when the MacArthur Genius Fellowship was won by Bret, a Catlech geologist, Sheldon is overcome with jealousy. Also, Howard will find an old remote control to move a Stephen hawking figure he invented as reported by Ecumenical News.

The upcoming episode will open with Sheldon complaining to Leonard about the grant received by the geologist department. Sheldon then ignores a man in question which is shown later in the episode who greets the other guys. Then, the clip end with Sheldon limping home, and assisted by Leonard. Sheldon explained to Penny and Leonard that out of anger, he threw a rock on his foot. It's looks like even Leonard is injured too as a wadded tissue is hanging from his nose.

Apart from the grant jealousy, Sheldon's angry at Bret as it was revealed in the previous episode that Bret has feelings for his girlfriend Amy Farrah Fowler. He also put the department down by saying that the department is useless and not worth. He thinks physics department deserves the USD 500K grant because to him it is superior from all fields of Science.

In the end, his jealousy only hurt himself and Bret told him that he has something better which is none other than Amy's love. The show will air on Thursday, November 17 at 8:00 pm ET on CBS.
