Just in time for the holiday seasons. After previous reports claimed that Apple is set to release the anticipated Airpods before 2016 ends, appeared to be untrue as an alleged proof that has surfaced through the internet turned out that the expected shipping date of the Airpods is listed as December, exactly the month end of 2016.

An official Czech Apple retailer, Alza.cz made the earbuds available for pre-order but Letem Svetem Applem, a Czech publication, noticed that the shipping date was in December. Alza later revealed that the Airpods are expected to arrive next month. Now, consumers can expect to put the Airpods on their holiday wish list.

Though the listing didn't have a specific date of released, people expect that the Airpods could be released before December 25, Christmas Day. International Business Times reported that the originally released date of the earbuds is in October but it has been delayed, saying that the earbuds required a little more time to ensure the quality and to get the product ready before handing it to the consumers.

There have been no statements since then. The suggested price of the Airpods is USD 159 on official Apple websites and it is still unfortunately marked as "unavailable." TechRadar claimed that they contacted the Apple store about the recent reports of the possible December release date of the earbuds but the company declined to give any comments.

The new Apple Airpods was introduced by the company during a press conference in September as the new official wireless headphone accessory for the iPhone7 and iPhone 7 Plus, replacing the traditional headphone jack. Releasing the earbuds on the height of the holiday season would be a great opportunity to maximize sales.
