This week Sony has kicked off May Madness with several promotional sales for its Playstation products, and Microsoft has announced some change coming to Xbox Live Gold members.

According to International Business Times, Playstation 4 users can get discount prices on games including "EA Sports NBA Live 14," Madden NFL 25" and "Stealth Inc. Ultimate Edition."

Meanwhile gamers still playing off of the Playstation 3 can get discounts on many more titles, such as "Brothers: a Tale of Two Sons," "Crysis 2," "Dead Island," several "Resident Evil" games, "The Bureau: XCOM Declassified" and "XCOM Enemy Within."

Several Playstation Vita, PSP and Playstation One games are also being offered at discounted prices, which can found on the Playstation blog.

Over at Microsoft, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer announced on Xbox Wire that there would be many changes coming in June for all Xbox users. He said that the company would begin selling Xbox One's without the Kinect on June 9 for $399.

Spencer also said the company would offer Xbox 360 and Xbox One users access to entertainment apps even if they don't have an Xbox Live Gold membership.

Furthermore, in celebration of the Games with Gold program launching a year ago in June, Microsoft will give each member a free Xbox 360 game. Games with Gold will also be available to Xbox Live Gold members using Xbox One in June.

Additionally Microsoft is going to offer exclusive discounts to Xbox Live Gold members for titles such as "Forza Motorsport 5," "Ryse: Son of Rome" and many others.

Spencer said a standalone Kinect for Xbox One would be available later this fall and provide more details about the product in the coming months.

All Xbox users will get to access entertainment applications in June as well regardless of whether or not you have Xbox Live Gold.

According to Business Times, individuals who purchased a membership before the June changes were announced is eligible for a pro-rata refund from Microsoft.
