If you've ever wondered what it would be like to live in the world of Watch Dogs, then this video is for you.

Ubisoft shared a new video on Friday, placing people in the world of Watch Dogs. The video's description says, "An amazing smartphone app turns common people into powerful hackers and hidden cameras record their reaction as they unwillingly hack a street of Los Angeles. You won't believe what they do when the police show up!"

The premise of the video is that people go to a cell phone repair store, where they are told that they have a new app installed on their phones, free of charge. The employee first shows them how to turn off lights in the store and then says they can use the phone anywhere. They head outside and turn off streetlights and unlock car doors.

Their phones have a big Hack button, and when pressed, they are supposed to be able to change lights. They are encouraged to press the button for the street, and then there are car accidents.

When the police arrive, the employee tells them to hide the phone. But as the cops approach them, he says that the people have stolen a phone from his store and that they are responsible for the car accidents.

Eventually, the truth is revealed, but they all had different ways of reacting to the police.

Watch Dogs will be released on May 27, and Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot recently said that the game is selling well.

"Watch Dogs preorders are at record level,s and it is perfectly positioned to become the industry's most successful new IP in history," he said.

The company expects to sell 6 million units, though they didn't say how many copies had been pre-ordered.
