Cast member Jessica Capshaw teased what's in store for her character Arizona Robbins in the second part of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13. On the other hand, series creator Shonda Rhimes shared her plans for the characters when the show returns. Plus, an actress believes that the fans will ship Mer-Lex.

According to TV Guide, Cast member Jessica Capshaw shared that her character, Arizona Robbins M.D., has been called on a case in a maximum security prison. The inmate needing medical help is said to be too dangerous to have her go to a regular hospital. It looks like the assignment is far from easy as Dr. Robbins enlists Miranda Bailey M.D. (Chandra Wilson) and Jo Wilson (Camilla Ludington) to help Arizona with the case.

Other than that, Shonda Rhimes being open to the possibility of writing up a new love story plot in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13. Rhimes believes that the tAlexander 'Alex' Karev M.D. (Justin Chambers) and Meredith Grey M.D. (Ellen Pompeo) tandem will be a fan-favorite.

Although not confirming anything, the doors are open to that happening after Meredith stopped her possible love interest, Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) the expense of Maggie Pierce's feelings, Inquisitr has learned.

In line with this, the fans and "Grey's Anatomy" cast member Camilla Ludington seem to see this as an opportunity of a potential romantic relationship between Meredith and Alex. The two have been friends since season 1. With Cristina Yang gone, Alex has replaced her place in Meredith's life as 'her person', Refinery 29 reported.

There is still a lot in store for the lives of the characters after the events that transpired during the season premiere.

The second part of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 midseason premiere is on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at 8:00 p.m. first off on ABC Television Network.
