Angelique Boyer and her "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" co-stars Daniela Castro, Sebastián Rulli and Luis Roberto Guzmán accepted special awards from the Plaza of the Stars for their work and career.

Boyer took some time to talk about her weight and her relationship with Rulli.

She said she recently lost a lot of weight.

"I lose a lot of weight, but I don't like to be that skinny. I haven't had a lot of time to exercise, so I do miss it," she said, in an Univision video. Boyer added that the constant shooting schedule and the heat in Campeche are behind the weight loss.

But she's very health conscious.

"I got checked out and everything is fine," Boyer said.

She was also asked about her mother's health, who suffers from pulmonary emphysema. She said that her mother is being treated and is completely optimistic.

And it wouldn't be a Boyer interview without mentioning Rulli.

"You won't get tired of saying it, and you will continue seeing us together because there's a friendship," she said.

One reporter directly addressed a rumor that the two were spotted at a restaurant together and they wouldn't allow their picture to be taken. Boyer was obviously taken aback by the comment and made a face before saying, "That's not true."

The actress explained that if it were up to her, she would separate her public and private life.

Regardless, the actress is happy that people can relate to her character, Montserrat.

"There's a great affinity with people because it's a woman who is in love and committed," she said. "Because in every scene we try to do a beautiful job. We have eight weeks left. We have to enjoy every moment to the fullest."

But Boyer fans shouldn't get too upset about the show ending soon.

The actress said she is ready to take on another project as soon as possible.
