AMD are expected to soon release their new Ryzen Processors to the markets. AMD Ryzen is one of the most anticipated desktop grade computer processors worldwide. Earlier reports mentioned that AMD will soon hold a keynote that's rumored to be regarding the processor launch.

The month of January has been a busy month for AMD and the internet is filled with the leaked images, benchmarks and performance comparisons with present high-end processors from their competitors Intel. The latest benchmarks of the AMD Ryzen 5 1600X processor have been leaked over at certain Chinese forums. R5 1600x from AMD seems to easily overthrow its equal competitor, the i7 6800k.

The hexacore twelve threaded processor chip seems to be one of the fastest from the Ryzen family yet. Images from WCCFTech reveal that the processor has been overclocked to 3.7gHz crossing its threshold of 3.3gHz without any issues and is being stress tested for more than 15 minutes. A performance benchmark graph lists the Ryzen R5 1600x right at the top of the list with the 6950x from Intel matching its scores.

That said, the R5 1600x should cost about 1/5th of the price that of the Intel i7 6950x. However, it should be known that the 6950x is, in fact, a deca-core processor with twenty threads if that should provide some insight into the insane capacity of the 1600x.

Regarding the prices for the processors, Forbes has done a fantastic job with putting everything in one place suggesting that the R5 1600X is, in fact, not even the highest-end processor for AMD. As speculated, the processor will cost just about $259 if the leaks are true.

AMD's top-end processor for the Ryzen family will, in fact, be occupied by the R7 1800x that will be based on an octa-core sixteen threaded architecture with the TDP peaking at 95W. The image also seems to suggest that the R7 1800x would cost $449 shows the desperation by AMD to bounce back into the processor segment.
