According to Enstarz, in "Criminal Minds" Season 12 Episode 15 titled as "Alpha Male", Spencer will see himself entangled amidst big, scary prisoners. Since he is new and hasn't been well acquainted with the rules of confinement, since he is an active BAU member, he might adjust to save himself from the prison's tradition - a good beating.

While Spencer gears up for an unwanted lifestyle, he had made some new friends. Spencer's cellmate Harold Perrineau as Calvin Shaw talks about survival and how things are done in prison in the released promo.

According to Spoiler TV, Spencer's duration in the prison is not short-lived. He will be transferred to an American prison where he is intended to stay for a long time.
