Good news for "Super Mario Run" fans. Avid players can now access the game anywhere (with an internet connection) as Nintendo officially announces the popular game to be available on Google Android.

According to CNET, "Super Mario Run" is a free to download game. Although players can and should expect to pay to unlock the full game's functionality, which at the moment comes in the form of a $9.99 (approximately RS 648) in-app purchase.

The first three levels are free, but to play beyond that, one has to pay a one-time fee of $9.9. Although this is a one-time unlock price so once paid for, there are no additional fees or costs associated with the game.

Once purchased, there are a number of extra added value features thrown in for good measure, including more rounds and bonus stages, as well as the option to be able to play with other characters, including Luigi, Yoshi, and Toadette.

"Super Mario Run" is designed to be an endless runner type of game. As for the official gameplay description in the Google Play Store listing, 9 to 5 Google notes, "A new kind of Mario game that you can play with one hand."

With that being said, players have to work their way through 6 worlds and 24 courses before reaching Bowser's Castle.

"Super Mario Run" falls into the endless runner category - it's fairly simple to play, but that doesn't mean it's always easy.
The game features three modes: World Tour (where you're helping ol' Mario to save Princess Peach), Toad Rally (show off great moves to challenge your friends and other players around the world), and Kingdom Builder (where you can build your own kingdom).

"Super Mario Run" is now available to download for free starting on March 23, 2017, via Google Play Store (Android 4.2 or newer OS and an Internet connection). The game also comes with a version 2.0. The version 2.0 is also available for the game on iOS devices.
