It's been six months since the split of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie that reliable sources have said that they are once again talking to each other. Although the conversations are said to be simply "cordial", this move is a positive way to help their selves and their children overcome the various challenges they have encountered during the said split.

As the source told US Magazine, they are in a place where they can put aside anger or hurt to focus on their children and how they plan to co-parent. The split was truly a tough time, particularly to Angelina, 41, that she was said to first reach out to Pitt, 53. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie both agreed to do the best for their children so they are willing to move forward with their kids' sake on top of their priorities.

This does not mean that they are now ready for a more intimate resolution. According to People, they are still in the process of working things out. Prioritizing their children's best interests is such a great move for a fresh start while on the process of figuring other things out.

Back in September 2017, this Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie news' headlines when Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt, her 12-year partner and husband for 2 years. Child abuse allegations were even charged against Pitt. During that tough time, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's six children are mostly with their mother's company with some monitored visits for Brad Pitt's side.

In an interview with ABC News George Stephenapolous last February Angelina Jolie said that Pitt would continue to be a part of the busy brood. The interview happened when Jolie and the kids attended their film's (First They Killed My Father) special screening in Cambodia.
