Now that former "Dancing With the Stars" co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet has had a whole season to accept her abrupt dismissal from the show, she has formed her opinions on the latest season and her replacement, Erin Andrews.

"I feel good about it," she told E! News. "I mean, I'm excited about this time and change, and I'm really committed to doing something creative and, you know, being free from that ABC contract now allows me to do anything. So that's a really great feeling."

Burke-Charvet, like "Dancing With the Stars" fans, was the last to know that the ABC was even considering replacing her. Still, the 42-year-old says things worked out for the best.

"I think I left at the right time," Burke-Charvet said. "I didn't understand the way they did it, but I understood the need for change."

Burke-Charvet also shared her opinion on Andrews, 36, who just finished her first season with Burke-Charvet's old job.

"I'm not sure they made the right choice," she said. "I won't get into that."

Burke-Charvet said that she didn't watch "Dancing With the Stars" last season.

"But I'm so fortunate that my fans are so loyal and supportive, and, you know, I have no hard feelings," Burke-Charvet said. "I wish them all a huge success, but I think I did everything I could do in the ballroom, and I think it was a good time to move on."

The mother of four recently launched Caelum Lifestyle, an activewear clothing line.

"I think that fitness is total fashion right now, and women are staying in their workout gear all day long. So I wanted it to be sexy and strappy and colorful," Burke-Charvet said of the line. "Everything is well under $100, so I'm hoping that it will inspire women ... to sweat in style."

She is also collaborating with Popsicle for a "rules" guidebook for kids, which she says is "a great idea to get families to connect."
