Thor (Chris Hemsworth) appears to be not in his usual getup in the first look at his third standalone Marvel film, "Thor: Ragnarok." The teaser trailer, which has already been viewed by more than seven million times since it was uploaded just last night, also features supervillain Hela (Cate Blanchett), attacking Thor's home Asgard and destroying his magical hammer, Mjolnir.

With that, fans are speculating that the movie will feature several sequences of Thor without his hammer, which, as most would agree, can't end well. According to the Los Angeles Times, Chris Hemsworth's superhero is having a rough time in the new teaser trailer for "Thor: Ragnarok."

In the video, it can be seen that Thor is stuck on the other side of the universe, while a bigger problem is brewing back at his home in Asgard. The new villain, Hela, played by Cate Blanchett, is doing her best to bring Ragnarok, which is the destruction of Asgardian civilization.

In between Thor and saving his world is a fighting competition that includes, among other things, a familiar green face - The Incredible Hulk. As seen in the teaser, Thor is about to fight Mark Ruffalo's Hulk in an inter-galactic gladiator-style competition in "Thor: Ragnarok."

Aside from Chirs Hemsworth's Thor and Mark Ruffalo's the Incredible Hulk, the teaser has also featured Loki (Tome Hiddleston), Sif (Jaimie Alexander) Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Heimdall (Idris Elba), and the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). These characters will be the main cast of the movie.

In a funny and epic moment in the "Thor: Ragnarok" teaser, Thor is forced into a ring to fight in an unconventional gladiator-style way of fighting, only to discover that his opponent is The Hulk. As seen in the video, he then exclaims: "We know each other; he's a friend from work."

Filmed in Brisbane and on on the Gold Coast, which was turned into a New York streetscape, "Thor: Ragnarok" is directed by Kiwi filmmaker Taika Waititi. According to The Coffs Coast Advocate, "Thor: Ragnarok" is due for release on November 3, 2017.
