Disney Plus is finally here with brand new shows and competitive rate packages that are expected to give Netflix and Hulu a race for their money.

There are new shows, schedules and price rates for everyone. Disney is planning to put the dominance of Netflix and Hulu to a halt in the streaming market. With the newly launched platform, the competition for better shows and better offerings will only benefit the streaming audience.

As Forbes reported, Disney Plus is live on Google Play right now. The usual Disney movies are of course available, on top of much awaited exclusives such as The Mandalorian, and Avengers: Endgame.

If you are from the United States, Canada and the Netherlands, here are the times you need to remember: 3 am PST, 4 am MST, 5 am CST, 6 am EST, 7 am AST, 11 am GMT, and 12 am CET. Fans will get the first episodes of The Mandalorian and the bragging rights on social media that comes with it.

Aside from the Star Wars, the MCU and all of its lineup of blockbusters, what else should the eager fans get? The Toy Story movies 1 to 3, X-Men Animated series, Avatar, Star Wars classics, Gravity Falls, Willows, Pixar Films, and The Simpsons. Plus, the new live action of The Lady and the Tramp will also be exclusively offered by Disney Plus.

What's good about this is that Disney is giving respect to its older fans and followers by offering the classics that made them a cinema powerhouse. They are also giving a chance to the younger audience to access the films that made a mark for Disney. Click here to see more of the list.

Disney Plus price starts at $6.99 per month or $69.99 annually. Compared to Netflix subscription price which stands at $12.99 per month, the introductory fee of Disney could prove to be a gamechanger. Netflix, arguably still the King of live streaming content, is set to lose fan favorites such as The Office and Friends. However, The Seinfeld will be offered exclusively on the platform on 2021.

For reference, HBO Max subscription fee is $14.99 per month and they will offer The Big Bang Theory, Friends, Game of Thrones, Sesame Street, Ghibli film roster, and Sesame Street. Joining the circus are Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, CBS All-Access, Peacock, and Apple TV+, CNN reported.

Per USA Today, here is how fans can watch Disney Plus aside from gadgets and smartphones: connect and use any streaming devices such as Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku and Google Chromecast. Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Smart TVs can also be utilized provided they are compatible with Android applications.

Disney is going to war against Netflix and has started preparing for it two years ago. The company acquired FOX TV and studios to bolster its lineup. No matter who wins the ratings game, in the end, the fans will be the clear winners with  better viewing experience and affordable subscription fees.

Disney Plus can also be enjoyed with ESPN+ and Hulu for $12.99.
