Netflix Releases Debut Date of Narcos: Mexico’s Season 2

In the finale of the first season of Narcos: Mexico, McNairy was introduced as one of the major characters in the second season of the Netflix series. The series will be returning in February of next year.

According to Eric Newman, the second season will help its viewers to understand the present situation of violence brought about by drug addiction in the country of Mexico by taking its audience back in time and highlight the involvement of the United States of America in the matter.

Scoot McNairy's role in the series will be part of the major role holders such as Diego Luna.

The saga will debut on February 13th next year. It has been more than a year ago since the first airing of its first episode, the second season will be introducing a new edge to the story about illegal drugs in the country of Mexico.

Season one of "Mexico" (the fourth season for the Narcos series, was a flashback story in the 1980s in Mexico. It showcased the establishment of the Guadalajara cartel. It also showed the beginning of the drug wars in the country of Mexico.

The Narcos: Mexico's Season 2 will be introducing new cast members. The story will be centered on the story of Gallardo and how he started to build his rule. This season will also include Wagner Maura as Pablo Escobar and his rivals from Columbia called the Cali Cartel. 

The Narcos: Mexico Season 1 was concluded with narration by an English speaker. The identity of the narrator was not revealed until the end of the last episode of the season. It was revealed that the narrator was McNairy.

Camarena, the DEA Agent, had faced death through the hands of Gallardo. In this episode, it was introduced that McNairy was playing the role of a DEA agent-in-charge. He was seen to have arrived in Guadalajara to cooperate with "Operation Layenda". "Operation Layenda" is a task force created to investigate the death of Camarena and convict those who had caused Camarena's passing.

McNairy will be playing the role of Walt Breslin in the Narcos: Mexico's Season 2. His character was introduced just before the closing of the final episode of the first season.

The Runner of the show, Eric Newman, had been keeping his mouth shut about McNairy's involvement until the end of the first season.

In the current revelations by Netflix, Walt Breslin is being introduced as a strong-willed agent of DEA who doesn't prefer following the rules all the time.

In the speech, McNairy's character in the Narcos: Mexico's Season 2 had given hints on the focus of the second season of the series.

In a narration in Season one's finale, he had said that the events in Guadalajara that happened at the beginning of the 1980s were just a start. He described it as the final event that had resulted in the first cartel in the country of Mexico. He explained that after the birth of the first cartel, everything followed such as the violence and the trading of illegal drugs. He also explained in his part of the season one finale that the event had also caused the DEA to change. 

In the finale, he called the event at the start of the drug war in the country of Mexico.
