The 2020 Grammys ceremony has just ended and five Latin performers were nominated for the Best Latin Pop, according to a published article in Billboard.

The Grammys is one of the biggest award-giving bodies in the world that recognizes artists in the music industry. The annual presentation of the ceremony features performances of prominent artists and presents awards to music artists who have great contributions or have impacted a lot the society.

The Grammy is second and part of the big three major awards that are held annually. Along with Grammy Awards is the American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards. It is not surprising anymore why many are following this year's winners of the Grammys.

This time, we will let you know the nominees for Best Latin Pop at the 2020 Grammys. Here they are:

1. Vida by Luis Fonsi

Vida by Luis Fonsi is a well-balanced album that features the artist's R&B and his romantic side. This is one of the most followed albums by Latinos because the Fonsi's soaring ballads and mid-tempo tracks and of course because also of his beautiful voice. The album includes his two famous music tracks and these are "Despacito" and "Echame La Culpa" with Demi Lovato. It is not surprising anymore why Luis Fonsi was nominated in the Grammys 2020 because it can be remembered that "Despacito" gained international attention and once became a worldwide trend.

2. 11:11 by Maluma

This is one of the albums produced and released where Maluma has many collaborators. The set includes 16 tracks and this is produced by Edgar Barrera, MadMusick, Tainy, Andres Castro, and Sergio George. His album features cleaner lyrics and romantic tones and has only three explicit songs. Maluma's album includes songs in collaborations with artists like Ricky Martin, Madonna, Ozuna, Nicky Jam, Ty Dolla $ign, Zion y Lennox, Sech, Chencho, and Farina. He has also music tracks where he worked with well-known writers like Servando Primera, Mambo Kings, Vicente Barco, and Luian Malavé Nieves. 

3. Fantasia by Sebastian Yatra

This album is something very personal to Sebastian Yatra because 12 songs included in this album represent the story lived by the artist. Yatra once told the Billboard: "So if I write the songs that are born from my soul about the most difficult moments or the happiest, I know that I can connect with people."  

4. Montaner by Ricardo Montaner

This is the 24th studio album from Ricardo Montaner. He is an Argentine-Venezuelan songwriter who explores new sounds and getting creative in addition to his usual romanticism. His 10-track album was co-produced by Camilo Echeverry, Jon Leone, and Richy López or Julka Bros., Mau y Ricky, and among others. This is also the first time that Montaner collaborated with an urban artist, Farruko.

5. #ElDisco by Alejandro Sanz

Last on the list the album produced by Alejandro Sanz together with Julio Reyes Copello and Alfonso Perez. The album was released on April 5 and has 10 tracks including his two previously released singles with Camila Cabello in "Mi Persona Favorita" and Nicky Jam in "Back in the City." Sanz once told the Billboard, "I wanted my essence to come through and even such an eclectic album has to have a certain aesthetic. I wanted contemporary, but powerful, arrangements." Moreover, it is not surprising anymore why he is the winner of this year's Best in Latin Pop 2020.
