Zoom reported double sales in the first quarter of the year and had announced a forecast of growth in sales due to the increasing number of people working remotely due to the threats of the novel coronavirus, according to an article.

According to the article, Zoom reported an increase in sales of 169 percent compared to the previous year's records. It means that the coronavirus pandemic had opened up sales growth opportunities for the company. 

However, this less-than-a-decade-old California-based company had had its downs as recently it had encountered security complaint issues. Large companies like Twitter, Facebook, and Google have been allowing the majority of their employees to work from home due to the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
