Fans React to Zac Efron's 'Dad Bod.' Have You Seen It?

Many were surprised by Zac Efron's transformation, saying it was the ultimate dad-bod. Others were saying the transformation was far from a dad bod.

Efron's body change was for Netflix's brand new show entitled Down to Earth with Zac Efron.

It is an eight-episode journey across the world. Efron co-host the show with superfood expert Darian Olien.

Efron and Olien will go to Iceland, Costa Rica, Peru, and other countries to learn about sustainable living and healthy eating. Sounds interesting and educational.

But some people's takeaways are Efron's body transformation. It even caused a debate from fans.

Dad Bod or Not?

One Twitter user tweeted, "Thinking about Zac Efron's 'dad bod' and how I may or may not have yelled 'daddy' at some point during the series."

The New York Post also called Zac Efron's transformation on the said Netflix show, a dad bod.

Twitter users wanted to clear up one misconception that just because Efron is being called a daddy does not necessarily mean he has a dad bod.

One user tweeted that if many people say Zac Efron's transformation is dad bod looking, then there is no hope for the rest of them.

Many known personalities have also commented on people's opinions on Efron's transformation.

Singer-songwriter Conor Maynard tweeted that if Efron's transformation is considered as a dad bod, then he's never taking his top off ever again.

ESPN analyst Matthew Berry also said on Twitter if the definition of dad bod has changed recently.

On the other hand, Efron doesn't seem to be affected by any comments about his new body. Instead, he thanked everyone who has tuned into the series.

Efron seems to be happier with how he looks now.

Efron said that doing Baywatch was important for him as it made him realize many things about his figure in the movie. He said he does not want to be in that good shape again.

Efron added that it was really hard.

"You're working with almost no wiggle room, right? You've got things like water under your skin that you're worried about, like, making your six-pack into a four-pack. S**t like that, that's just not ... it's just stupid," he added.
