The popular Netflix show "Money Heist," also known as "La Casa De Papel," will officially be returning to your television screens for its fifth and final season.

"Money Heist" season five can be streamed on video streaming service Netflix in 2021. Here's what every fan should expect on its comeback.

The "Money Heist" series has already broken most records, with it being the current record of being the most-watched non-English title on Netflix. The well-loved TV series has also managed to collect around 65 million views for its season four.

It took a long time for "Money Heist" to get its fifth installment for the series. Netflix officially announced the season of the series is coming in August 2020.

However, the video streaming service company also said that the "heist comes to an end," referring that season five will be the Spanish series's final season.

"We've spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters. The result is the fifth part of 'La Casa de Papel.' The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season," Netflix said in a statement.

The current production status of the fifth season of "Money Heist" is still in the pre-production period.

In early July, Alex Pina said that he is still writing the fifth season. One of the most beloved characters in the show will be returning. Pedro Alonso, who plays Berlin, suggested on his social media post that he will return for Money Heist's fifth season.

"I just had my hair cut, tried on clothes. They all wore masks. That at times seemed like the Pentagon. Or one of Spielberg about meetings in who knows what phase. The fact is that soon I will be him again. It's called Berlin, and it's pure love. Sometimes," Alonso was quoted.

It seems like Berlin is not the only one returning to the show. Úrsula Corberó posted a photo in mid-August on her Instagram, showing her first day back on set.

Aside from all the characters returning to the show, two new cast members will also be featured in the fifth season.

Sense8 star Miguel Ángel Silvestre was announced to be part of the fifth installment of the show. Silvestre's character seems to be the new villain for the final season.

Pina said they are always trying to bring in charismatic, intelligent, and brilliant opponents.

"In this case, from a genre of pure war, we also look for characters in which the intelligence can be like that of the Professor," Pina noted

Patrick Criado was the second actor to be cast in the show's fifth season. Criado is known for his roles in "The Aspirant," "Plastic Sea," and "The King."

There is said to be another cast member joining the show. According to a report, José Manuel Seda, a writer, director, and actor, is soon joining the cast. Seda is best known for his work on "Yo soy Bea."

"Money Heist" made its debut on Spanish television in 2017. By then, nobody knew that it would become the most-watched non-English language series on Netflix globally.
