The Latinos for Trump group in Arizona will be getting a boost as U.S. President Donald Trump is headed to visit the state on Monday, September 14.

He will be hosting a roundtable dubbed as "Latinos for Trump" at the Arizona Grand Resort to sway 1.2 million eligible Latino voters in the state to his side.

Trump will first stop in California to get updates on the wildfire before heading to Arizona for his fifth visit to a state known to lean on the Democrats' side.

The Latinos for Trump group have set up offices in a south Phoenix strip mall, and one each in Tucson and Yuma, which serves as a public statement that Trump does care about the Latino voters. This is said by Pam Kirby, a member on the group's advisory board, according to a report on the USA Today.

Kirby, also a former member of the Scottsdale school board, added that Trump is not just sitting in D.C., saying that he values the Latino vote, but he is "walking the talk" and is actually making financial investments in Arizona.

The Latinos for Trump centers and website share key issues in the president's platform that appeal to Latino voters, such as freedom, family, faith, opportunity, jobs, and economy.

The group's website states that they are mobilizing for President Trump's re-election by sharing the historic gains in Latino communities that were affected by the administration of Trump.

Its website further stated that President Trump's re-election would "ensure economic opportunity, safer communities, and religious liberty for generations to come."

According to a report on Fox 10, one of the issues that will be taken up in the Latinos for Trump roundtable will be having a pro-life president, which is what the Latino community wants, said Kirby.

Kirby added that President Trump is the most pro-life president that the country has had and has been the only president who has actually walked in a "Walk for Life" march.

While Trump is seemingly making headway in a predominantly Democrat-leaning state, Kirby claimed that they have had Democrats registering to vote as Republicans.

Proof that the Latinos for Trump is making some headway in earning votes for Trump.

This is not surprising with Kirby saying that Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden has yet to visit the Grand Canyon State this election cycle.

According to Kirby, the former vice president, and the Democrats have taken the Latino community for granted.

Biden's running mate, Senator Kamala Harris, had spoken to the Latino small business owners in Arizona virtually on Saturday, September 12.

She had told them that the Democrats are engaging community members like them because they know that they are the state's backbone.

Polling on the General Election race as of September 13 had Biden leading by 4.7 percent over Trump.

However, Trump seems to be making progress in courting Latino voters elsewhere with the Miami Latinos, also putting him in a tight race against Biden, according to a report on the Latin Post. Miami is another Democrat state.
