The White House is still optimistic that a new stimulus bill will be passed before the election. Mnuchin said after Democratic members in the Senate rejected the GOP's proposal, he will seek to pile pressure towards Pelosi.

Pelosi keeps on rejecting the stimulus package that Republican lawmakers offered in the past few months. Mnuchin said that he is ready to meet the House Speaker to discuss a new round of stimulus package without preconditions.

Mnuchin told the CNBC: "I think there is a compromise if the speaker is willing to move forward. I am somewhat concerned that she's afraid that any deal will be good for the president and obviously, we have politics that are getting in the way."

The Treasury Secretary firmly believed that one of the reasons why Pelosi continues to decline and reject the stimulus because it will boost Trump's reelection bid.

There are rumors that Pelosi wants to discuss the new stimulus bill after the election because they are already confident that their party's candidate will win. However, Pelosi's political intention and continuous rejection on the proposal are hurting millions of Americans.

The targeted bill that Republicans offered last week included an extension of unemployment benefits, PPP loans, funds for schools, and more.

Even though the White House and Pelosi agreed to sign the continuing resolution that allows the federal government to operate and avoid a government shut down, Americans are still appealing to Congress to act on a new stimulus immediately.

Meanwhile, Pelosi said she is only open for another stimulus package if it will include help for hard-pressed renters. However, the Trump administration has already released the National Eviction Moratorium that protects tenants from not getting evicted if they can no longer pay their rent due to pandemic-related problems.

The CDC has released the moratorium and is applicable across the country. Tenants should make sure that they fill-up the form and declare their reason for not paying the rent. It must be related to the pandemic like job loss and only depends on their daily needs to charities.

President Donald Trump has been making efforts to help millions of Americans despite the criticisms he received. In fact, he extended the unemployment benefits a day after the targeted stimulus bill was rejected. Right now, his administration is planning for legal executive actions.

The White House is still open to negotiating with the Democrats and even said that Trump is willing to sign a stimulus package up to $1.3 trillion.

The White House wants to deliver Americans' needs before the presidential election and before government operations shut down.

Congress has 12 days to discuss the new stimulus, and if ever that both parties will come up with an agreement at the end of this month, Trump will sign it a day after to make it into law. The stimulus aid should be given at least until the end of this year.
